==========================================================
Hi Everyone,
I am so happy to announce that we've made it to our third issue with
lots of new subscribers! This has really made my month. So, keep up
the good work everyone! I'm sure at least a few of the newbies are
because word of mouth is getting around to others from my present
subscribers.
I have lots of news to report for this issue, but first I'd like to
apologize for the lateness of the present issue, and say thanks for
your patience in waiting for it. One piece of my news is that I'm in
the middle of a two state move at the moment from Portland, OR to
Seattle, WA. Needless to say the weeding out of 14 years worth of
stuff that I've managed to collect at this residence has been
interesting as well as time consuming. It's amazing how much stuff you
can accumulate over an extended period of time! However, just so
everyone knows I will probably be unable to check e-mail from December
2-7th, so if you send me e-mails during that time to participate in my
contest or the special and don't hear back from me as quickly as usual
don't be alarmed, those are the actual moving/unpacking days. I should
be all set up to check e-mail etc. by the 7th or earlier and I promise
I will get caught up at that time. Anyway, the next issue should be on
time with no problems as I will be moved into the new residence and
settled in by the time it's due out again.
Next I have several exciting bits of information to share, one being
that I'm going to be interviewed by Romance Junkies in January. I'm
very excited about this, as it is another opportunity to get the word
out about GETTING OUT ALIVE and also for my readers who maybe aren't
subscribed to the newsletter to get to know me and my writing a bit
better. So, be on the lookout for it, and I of course will let you
know when it's posted.
Also, I'm running a new contest to celebrate the upcoming release of
my romantic suspense novella DESTINY'S CHOICES. It will run from
November 2, 2005 – January 2, 2006, and is for a pair of beautiful
beaded earrings created and designed by me of course. If you would
like to participate send me an e-mail at tiwatz@yahoo.com with the
word "earrings" in the subject line and tell me in the body of the
e-mail if you would prefer long or short style. That's all you need to do!
To kick off the holidays in style and say thank you to everyone for
their support and help over the last seven months since GETTING OUT
ALIVE was released, I have a special that will be running on my
website for a limited time only (November 14, 2005 – January 2, 2006).
If you purchase a copy of GETTING OUT ALIVE in either e-book or print
version anytime during the above dates and provide me with a proof of
purchase via e-mail at tiwatz@yahoo.com I will send you a copy via
e-mail of my new romantic suspense novella DESTINY'S CHOICES
absolutely free! This novella is almost long enough to be termed a
novel at over 80 pages!
If you'd like to see what DESTINY'S CHOICES is about you can go to
http://www.reginapaul.bravehost.com/Specials.html to read more about
it, or check out the blurb below.
Thanks again to everyone for their continued support and help, and I
hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday season!

o 6 Easy Ways to Defeat the Writer's Block Monster
==========================================================
We've all experienced it at one time or another. You sit down at your
computer, or you're at your desk with a pad and pencil all ready to
write your heart out…and nothing happens. Your mind is a complete
blank. You feel as though you will never string ten words together in
a coherent sentence again. You've been attacked by writer's block. The
sad thing about this particular monster is once it sinks its teeth in
and begins to work on your psyche, if you don't defeat it immediately
it can be around for some time. Writer's block can eat away at your
mind, and make you think, "Why can't I write anything?" or "I just had
the next scene complete with dialogue in my mind perfectly an hour
ago, how come I can't remember any of it now?"
The following are some techniques that have worked quite well for me:
1. Write anything, even if it doesn't pertain to what you want to
write. Even if you feel what you are writing is crap, it's important
to continue. Just write, even if it doesn't make sense, even if it has
nothing to do with your current project. Who knows? Somewhere in all
that "crap" might be a few gold nuggets!
2. If weather permits, go for a walk outside. Something you see might
unplug the dam that's holding all those good ideas hidden in some far
flung place in your mind.
3. Take a nap. I've gotten some of my best story ideas from dreams
I've had. And it's a proven fact that we often dream the solutions to
our problems.
4. Meditate. Meditation is easy, even if you've never practiced it
before. There are many reliable sources on how to meditate both on and
offline. I'm sure you can find one if this technique interests you.
Like taking a nap, meditation allows the mind to be quiet long enough
to find the solution or idea you are looking for.
5. Exercise. Do some yoga, aerobics, or maybe go to the gym and walk
on a treadmill or take a spinning class. While you're at it, watch all
the other people and see if it doesn't jog your brain into giving
forth those great ideas.
6. Call another writer. Sometimes it just helps to talk to another
author. We've all heard the expression before, "Only another author
would really understand this." It's true, and it's hard to explain to
a non-writer how sometimes our minds just don't want to work with us
when it comes to our writing and coming up with ideas for it. So, call
a friend who's also a writer and talk about your writer's block, and
your current project. Sometimes two heads are better than one.
Everyone suffers from writer's block even those who don't consider
themselves writers per se. These techniques are designed to rekindle
the muse's flame whether you're writing a research paper for school, a
Dear John letter, or the next New York Times Bestseller. The important
thing to remember no matter which technique you choose, is not to let
the writer's block monster defeat you!

o FEATURED BOOK REVIEW: The Bond, A Paranormal Romance by Karen Magill
==========================================================
The Bond, A Paranormal Love Story is a thrill ride! Ms. Magill
skillfully leads the reader on a fast-paced journey that both reveals
and hides clues. From one moment to the next I found myself thinking I
had figured it out, only to discover that Ms. Magill had fooled me
again! The premise, two people being in fatal accidents at the same
time and meeting each other as spirits was very believable. I went
through the individual emotional ups and downs of both Laura and
Julian as they did their best to cope with an experience for which
they had no real definition. I felt Julian's fear when with the help
of a psychic friend and his dreams he discovers Laura is in grave
danger. I felt deep empathy for Laura as she struggled with her doubts
as the seeming Prince Charming who was really the snake in disguise
swept her off her feet. I waited with baited breath to find out if
this unlikely couple who probably never would have met under normal
circumstances were going to get it together and find each other.
In addition, I loved the way author wove the secondary characters into
the plot in a totally realistic way; everybody fit. As a fellow author
I know how difficult this can be to do. Ms. Magill pulled it off with
flying colors!
This author's knowledge of the paranormal, her understanding of human
nature, and her setting is unsurpassed. I felt like I knew Laura and
Julian well by the time I had finished and had been to the places
she'd described. Also, the story was conceivable which isn't always
the case with books which have paranormal elements, and makes it a
keeper for me. I read it long into the night, and could not put it
down until I had finished the last word. I would recommend this book
to anyone who enjoys a love story with a twist. This book is not to be
missed!
Do you have a review,or good news you'd like to share for the next
issue? Send it to me at tiwatz@yahoo.com two weeks before the first
week of every other month to be included in the next issue.

Ancient traditions, love, secrets, and betrayal-DESTINY'S CHOICES
DESTINY'S CHOICES by Regina Paul is a fast paced romantic suspense!
The author creates a tale of young love lost and found again,
traditions older than time, and the true test of keeping a family

Secrets are something Tiana Slickpoo knows all about for she is the
holder of a great secret, one she is unable to share with any save a
few within her tribe. When sacred tribal objects, and artwork begin
disappearing from the tribal museum, and Tiana's gallery, she thinks
she knows what the thieves might be looking for. The "indian
grapevine" soon brings her word that James Waters is home and going to
be investigating the thefts. James is the one person in the universe
she does not want to see. Still bitter over their break up six years
before, she wants nothing to do with him. However, the tribe, and the
